Brede’s weekly farmer’s market is up and running for the new year,

The popular market takes place every Friday morning at Brede Village Hall and was one of the first farmer’s markets to be established in Sussex.

The idea of the market was to raise income for the upkeep of the hall and it has been a big success.

On offer is local produce including jams and chutneys as well as fresh vegetables, meat and fish.

The market also provides a meeting place for people in the village to catch up over a cup of tea or coffee.
