IMPROVEMENTS have been carried out to Rye Harbour Village Hall with the help of National Lottery funding.
The refurbishment of the toilets is the conclusion of phase one of a big refurbishment project.
The project was funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund, with a grant of £10,000 along with matched funding; £4,500 from Sussex Community Foundation and the remainder coming from the Village Hall funds.
Residents got together recently to celebrate the first stage of the works.
Meg Dodson, Chairperson Rye Harbour Village Hall Management Committee said: “We would like to thank the National Lottery, Big Lottery Fund and Sussex Community Foundation for their generous support.’
The village hall is available to hire from £8 per hour.
