A picture of an amp and bass guitar stolen in Rye has come to light in a bid to find them as police believe they could have been sold.
The owners of the workshop and storage facility in Camber Road reported that the premises had been burgled overnight on February 26.
Now a photo has come to light of the Washburn electric bass guitar or a Marshall B150 bass music amplifier and police are appealing to anyone who may have seen them for sale or been offered them to buy.
The guitar and the amplifier were among 33 items taken, including 12 other pieces of musical equipment such as microphones and leads, more than ten commercial power tools and a Gray Nicholls cricket kit bag.
The guitar has a distinctive finish, and has a Union Jack strap. The Marshall amplifier has been modified so that the speaker inside the cabinet is branded ‘Fane’.
PC Paul Eastes said: “If you have been offered these items or have any other information, please contact us via email@example.com or call us on 101, quoting serial 424 of 26/02.
“You can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
