Whether you are a dog or horse lover this year’s annual St Michael’s Hospice Riding Club’s Horse and Dog Show at Catsfield had something for everyone.

The event, which is held by the volunteer support group, The St Michael’s Hospice Riding Club, raised an amazing £4,000 for the Hospice.

Community Fundraiser Amanda Hildreth said: “This year’s event was fantastic. The weather was fabulous and the visitors attended in droves.

“We were delighted to have the Mayor of Hastings Cllr Bruce Dowling officially open the show.

“We would like to say a very big thank you to the Riding Club, GG Tack who donated a bespoke St Michael’s Hospice cross country jersey and skull cap as an auction prize which sold for a huge £105.

“We would also like to thank all those who helped to make this year’s event so a great success.”
