Tonight at 7.30 pm the Iden and District Natural History Society has the next Winter Lecture.
Mr. Ian Rumley - Dawson will present a talk on “A Norwegian Coastal Voyage.” A subscription costs £12, or a visitor pays just £3 for an individual Lecture. All talks take place in Iden Village Hall.
The Mobile Library will be at the village hall on Monday from 12.05 to 12.45.
There is also the Pop-in Coffee morning in the Hall from 11 am to 1.30 pm. This is the perfect opportunity to meet friends, change books, CDs and DVDs. A really nice thing to do on a Monday morning.
There is a Children’s Craft Afternoon, making things for Hallowe’en at Rye Museum, 3, East Street between 2 and 4 pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This is on Tuesday 30th October and Wednesday 31st October, same time, same place.
As well as the usual mid-week services there will be Holy Communion at 10.30 on 1st November at Iden.
Also a Commemoration of All Souls with Morning Prayer at 9.30 am at Playden . and at 3.30 pm at Iden on 2nd November.
Other mid-week services will be as usual.
The service on Sunday at 9.30 am will be Parish Communion led by the Vicar.
