Letter sparked family contact

MY name is Heather and my cousin Susan, from my mother’s side of the family, advised me that you had run a letter from a cousin from my father’s side of the family.

My sister and I were adopted after the tragic death of our mother and knew nothing about our father’s side of the family.

I contacted my cousin Marion who didn’t know we existed until she started doing her family tree and have had spoken on the telephone to swap our histories.

Thank you so much for publishing the letter and bringing us together after 65 years. Cilla would be proud of you.
