Polished play from BLOG

I had not heard of Sweet Charity, BLOG's most recent production, so did not know what to expect when I went to see it last week.

It was a typical girl meets boy story but with an unexpected twist at the end.

Unusual also in that women had the dominant roles.

It was perhaps over long and dragged at times, but as ever BLOGs gave a polished and assured performance.

There are a lot of regulars amongst the cast and they work well together.

Karen Keeler Moore as Charity was marvellous, she was on the stage almost constantly and looked as fresh at the end as she was when it started.

However, Alfie the dog stole the show.

Shame he had such a small part.

Thank you and congratulations to all involved.
