Santa says thanks

editorial image

THROUGH your pages may I give a huge thank you to the very generous people of Battle, my family, Battle 41 Club and the many friends round the country for helping to raise approximately £1,500 for the Multiple Sclerosis Trust.

It was a lovely sunny but cold Sunday morning (December 9) when I ‘ran’ 5km (on my mobility scooter) around Greenwich Park in South East London donned in a Santa outfit, (hat, beard and red suit) along with 2,000 other similarly dressed Santas.

Most of the runners ran 5km or 10km for various charities in the Santa Run 2012, organised by Do It For Charity.

Thank you all again and a very Happy Christmas.

Ho Ho Ho!
