Surreal and hilarious

Granny Turismo descended on Battle on bank holiday Saturday as part of the street theatre series.

Lucky for them the weather was kind. Watching Margery and Mary make their way down the High Street sitting on shopping trolleys with a background of jaunty music and intermittent sounds of a horn was both surreal and hilarious. The show was funny, they engaged with the sadly not large audience well and strutted their stuff to a range of music.

It must take a lot of practice to sit on and control the segways under the trolleys and to look so assured. I loved them, I hope they come back and thank you to whoever found them and brought them to Battle.
