Battle braces itself for the Big Event

From July 2 to 6, as part of Battle’s Big Event, Claverham College is teaming up with the East Sussex Music Service, Pestalozzi International Village Trust and Battle Arts to present a week-long programme of music and art events.

The event at Claverham is a chance for both young and old to showcase their creative talents as every evening, from 6pm to 9pm the college will open its doors to present a range of exhibitions and performances, from jazz bands to symphony orchestras, modern dance and youth choirs, short story readings and art exhibitions.

There will also be open sessions of Adult Education classes in silversmithing, jewellery making, sugarcraft and cookery and an open rehearsal with Battle Town Band.
