Battle Knit and Knatter group

BATTLE Knit and Knatter group has a special meeting coming up on Saturday October 13.

The meeting takes place at the beginning of National Knitting Week and to mark this event, the group is offering to teach anyone wanting to start knitting or to improve their knitting or crochet skills.

The group will be meeting at the Kings Head pub in Mount Street between 11am-3pm.

Shelagh Duffill, of the Battle Wool and Needlecraft Shop and founder member of the group, will be holding a knitting 'clinic' to answer questions and solve any knitting or crochet problems.

Regular members of the group will be making decorations for a tree which will be entered into the Festival of Christmas Trees at St Mary's Church.

All are welcome to drop in and find out more about the group.

Any donations of bright and glittery yarn will be gratefully received.

All the group would like to thank Joe and Paul at the Kings Head for all their support over the last two years.

For further information about Knit and Knatter, please call Shelagh Duffill at the Battle Wool and Needlecraft Shop on 775073.
