Battle street lights meeting

IN her letter in last week’s Observer Mrs Goldsworthy commented on the Town Council’s promise to hold a public meeting on proposals to switch off the street lights between midnight and 5am.

The newsletter to which she referred was issued last October and I am pleased to take this opportunity to report that the current quarterly newsletter, now being distributed, confirms that arrangements for that meeting have been finalised and that it will take place at the Almonry on February 25 at 6.30pm.
