Black ice causes crashes

POLICE and ambulance crews were called out to a number of road accidents across 1066 Country this morning, caused by black ice.

A vehicle overturned on Netherfield Hill, Netherfield, this morning and an accident on Crowhurst Road caused tailbacks along Queensway in St Leonards.

An accident was also reported on the B2089 in Udimore and emergency services are currently on the scene of an accident in Chittcombe Road, Broad Oak.
