Elderly pair in Catsfield crash

AN ELDERLY couple from Bexhill escaped serious injury after the car they were travelling in hit a street sign in Catsfield Road, Catsfield, at 6.30pm on Wednesday.

It is believed the 81-year-old driver misjudged a bend near Powdermill Lane. The man was left shaken and his 79-year-old passenger sustained back and thumb injuries.
