Expert advice at Playden Energy Cafe this weekend

ENERGISE Sussex pilots its innovative new Energy Cafe at Playden W.I. Hall on Saturday.

Expert advisors will be at the hall from 1pm - 4pm to help local people find out how to keep warm and healthy whilst spending less on expensive energy bills.

There will be opportunities to speak to experts in new energy generation and heating systems and to explore options for installing new home insulation free.

Richard Watson said: This is being run in Playden as a pilot scheme for the rest of the county to switch to renewable heating systems

“We have grants available from the Department of Energy and Climate Change and can offer a free energy audit of your home.

“The sessions are run on a drop-in basis where you can obtain free information and advice, and tea and cake.

Energise Sussex Coast is a social enterprise encouraging our community to be energy smart, save money, stay warm and stay healthy.

Playden W.I. Hall is situated in Houghton Green Lane.

Another Energy Cafe session will be taking place there on Thursday November 8 between 3pm and 6pm.
