Fund will create new jobs for young

RYE MP Amber Rudd has welcomed a Government pledge to invest a further £30 million into a start-up loan scheme she says will help create employment for young people in the Rye area.

It brings the total pot for Start-Up Loans to more than £110 million over the next three years and will see the age range extended to 30 , enabling more people to take advantage of the fund.

Amber said: “This is great news for Rye and job creation locally. Job creation is essential to our economic recovery and young people should be bold and consider setting up their own businesses and turn a hobby into a business.”
