Games Maker visits school

PARALYMPIC Games Maker Roland Garrad paid a recent visit to Brede Primary School.

He brought with him souvenirs from the Games and even a piece of athletic track.

School Head Sarah Bulgin said; “The children listened in awe as he spoke about driving the buggy for Jonnie Peacock, from the warm up track, to the start of his Gold Medal winning 100m race.

“The visit had a real impact on the children’s understanding of such a successful and memorable Games for Paralympic Team GB.”
