Hurry to get your entry in for 10k run
Time is running out to enter the Battel Bonfire Boyes 10k race on Sunday September 5.
The run will start in Battle High Street at 10am, with the finish line on the Abbey Green.
There are six age classes for both men and ladies: 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and above.
There is also a fancy dress class.
Trophies will be awarded to first, second and third places in each age class, plus a cup to the winner of the best fancy dress and a cup for the runner collecting the most sponsorship for Battel Bonfire Boyes.
All finishers will be presented with a medal.
Entry is 11.50 and can be made online at www.bbb10k.co.uk, or by completing an entry form available from Alan Hunting Associates, 32 Mount Street. Entry on the day will cost 15.
Sponsorship forms can also be downloaded from the site.
A shortened junior race will take place at 9.30am before the main run, for children aged nine-14 years.
Trophies awarded to top three finishers in each class, entry fees 2.50 in advance, 3.50 on the day.
