Man taken to hospital after sewage tanker crash

A MOTORIST has been taken to hospital after his vehicle collided with a sewage tanker this afternoon (Wednesday).

The accident happened on the B2095 at Hooe, just north of the Lamb pub, just before 2.20pm.

Emergency services are currently on the scene and the road is blocked.

The man, who is believed to be in his late teens, suffered a knee injury and was complaining of chest pains.

Paramedics put a neck collar on the man and placed him on a spinal board as a precaution before taking him to Eastbourne District General Hospital.
