Pond skating danger warning
PARENTS are being asked to warn their children of the dangers of skating on frozen ponds.
Sussex Police said the consequences of skating on ponds and lakes across the county should be made clear to youngsters, particularly as a thaw is expected during the next few days.
Officers have suffered abuse when they have tried to give advice to skaters.
