Project celebrates four years

MEMBERS of the Marsham Older People’s Project celebrated its fourth birthday in style with an Old Tyme Music Hall event at Fairlight Village Hall.

The project provides a meeting place, lunch and activities for senior people living in Fairlight and the surrounding area.

More than 50 members dressed up and enjoyed a music hall entertainment, accompanied on the piano by Val Gibb, Prizes were given for the best dressed and raffle donations and wine were given by Just Property Estate Agents in Fairlight.

The members enjoyed music singing and dancing as well as a home cooked lunch with wine and birthday cake. The centre fills a void where services have been depleted in the rural villages.
