A GROUP of 15 dedicated fund-raisers are taking on the Hastings Half Marathon in March to help buy a specialised wheelchair for ten year old Daniel Thomas,

Daniel, from Rye, who attends Winchelsea Primary, was diagnosed with the most severe form of Muscular Dystrophy, aged four. Events in the Rye area have already raised £5,000 toward the £10,000 needed for the wheelchair that Daniel hopes to use when he attends Rye College in September.
