Rye plan needs to be taken forward

PROGRESSING the Rye Neighbourhood Plan was high on the agenda when the Campaign for a Democratic Rye group held its AGM at the George Hotel Recently.

Cllr Granville Bantick, from the group, says their is an urgent need to set up a steering group by April.

The meeting saw John Howlett re-elected as chairman with Alan Bolden as vice chairman .

Cllr Granville Bantick stepped down as secretary but becomes the groups new treasurer.
