Teenager has been missing for two weeks

POLICE are still seeking missing teenager Sonia Dredger who has been missing from Westfield for more than two weeks.

The 14-year-old was last seen by her foster carer on Wednesday August 22 after being dropped off at Ore to catch a bus into Hastings.

Since then she has been seen in the Silverhill area of Hastings, on the evening of August 28.

Police have also received information that Sonia has been in central London and could be dividing her time between London and Hastings.

Sonia is described as being of mixed race, about 5ft3, of slim build with shoulder length straight black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a royal blue puffa style jacket with no sleeves, a white vest top, grey snake skin design leggings and grey trainers.

Sonia hails from Newham and speaks with a London accent.

Sergeant Martyn Waterson said: “We are keen to trace Sonia as we are concerned for her welfare.

“Anyone who has seen her should contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting 1743 of 22/8.”
