Tickets go on sale for Icklesham Beer Festival

Tickets have gone on sale this week for the Icklesham Village Beer Festival.

And organisers have announced a top line-up of entertainment for the event, which takes place in the field behind the Robin Hood pub from Friday 25 - Sunday 27 of July.

Highlights include 70's soul legends The Real Thing, who had top UK hits with songs like You To Me Are Everything and Can't Get By Without You.

Also on the bill is the Blackman Brothers Big Band, with six musicians and a horn section, playing soul classics and Motown melodies.

Also appearing are young Indie band Feedback, the ever popular 1066 Rockit Men and Slam, with Katie Lloyd, who have been the support act to Status Quo.

On offer will be a wide selection of real ales from small independent craft brewers from all over the UK.

The Friday and Saturday evenings run from 7pm - 11.45pm, while Sunday is a family day and runs from 2pm - 6pm.

There will be a bouncy castle and face painting as well as a free colouring picture and pens for the first 100 children to arrive.

Hastings Community Circus will be performing and there will be a food bar and soft drinks.

Tickets are 10 for the Friday and Saturday nights and 5 for the Sunday afternoon session.

They are on sale now at Rye and Hastings tourist information centres and from the Robin Hood pub itself.
