Two day festival of arts and crafts set to take place at East Guldeford

The work of creative local people will be on display at a two-day Craft Fair at St Mary's Church, East Guldeford this weekend.

The exhibition runs from 10am - 5pm on Saturday and Sunday and there will be a barbecue from noon - 2pm on both days.

On Saturday popular group The Marsh Warblers will be giving a concert in the church at 6.00pm. Concert tickets are 7, including refreshments, on the door, or by calling 01797 222021/223288/225386.

East Guldeford vicar Lucy Murdoch said: "The many Crafts on show are the work of local people and will vary from ceramics to embroidery to leatherwork.

"Model aircraft and tractors will also be on display. Bring the family, and have a good day out at East Guldeford.

The church is on the right hand side of the A259 coming from Rye and after the Camber junction.

It will be signposted, and ample parking is available near the church.

All funds raised will go towards the restoration of the church's exterior medieval brickwork.
