WESTFIELD Horticultural Society were delighted with the quality and quantity of exhibits at their Spring Show on April 5.
Both the number of entries and the number of exhibitors surpassed previous Spring Shows and the committee would like to thank all those people who helped, prior to the event and also, during the day.
A special thanks goes to all those members, and non members, who entered exhibits and made it such a successful event.
Among the show winners were Margaret Crouch, who won the Rosebowl and Easter Cup and Kelvin Lynch, who gained the most points in the arts section.
The Junior Cup was won by Poppy Stratford while Maureen Wren won the cup for the best miniature display.
Sheila Benson won the Spring Goble for outstanding floral art arrangement and Kim Liddle won the Lilian Skinner Trophy for best exhibit in home produce .
Hollie Hayward was awarded a certificate formost points in Junior Section aged 7 year and under and Nick Wiggins also received a certificate for most points in handicrafts.
