THERE will be an opportunity for people to view plans for a new Rye museum building prior to an illustrated talk on Tuesday evening.
The plans will be on show at East St Museum from 6pm.
The talk, which starts at 7.30pm, is being given by Museum Trustee Dr Geoffrey Mead and is entitled Sussex Literary Landscapes.
Dr Mead will be choosing a selection of literature about Sussex through the ages, linking landscape quotations to pictures.
Admission to the talk is £2 for members and £3 guests, including refreshments.
There is no charge to view the plans, which are for new exhibition space within the existing exercise yard at Ypres Tower.
Following a recent meeting of museum directors, the plans have now been submitted to Rother District Council and will also be discussed by Rye Town Council at a future meeting.
