BEXHILL town hall was decked out in Rainbow Flags on Friday, May 16, in support of International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT).
Organisations were encouraged to fly the Rainbow Flag over the weekend to show its opposition to all forms of discrimination and support of tolerance.
Rother District Council showed its support for the event on Saturday, May 17, which commemorates the day in 1990 when the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from its list of mental diseases.
Malcolm Johnson, executive director at Rother District Council, said: “As well as celebrating diversity in our district, flying the Rainbow Flag sends out a clear message that all forms of discrimination are unacceptable to Rother District Council.”
