Thousands of people are expected to attend Rye Show on Saturday August 16.
The annual event is the biggest fund raiser of the year for Rye, Winchelsea and District Memorial Hospital.
It takes place again this year from 8am at Lea Barn Farm, Peasmarsh Road, Rye by kind permission of Mr and Mrs Frank Reeve.
After last year’s very successful event a lot of improvements have been introduced including a new lay out, much improved catering and added attractions.
The usual popular show jumping classes take place plus some extra ones for the younger participants. Clear Round Jumping Competitions, over the full course, will continue at regular periods throughout the day.
A Dog Show will start at 10.30am with a variety of Pedigree and fun classes for all ages.
Over 100 classic cars will be on parade, ranging from Rolls Royce, Bentley, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Ford, Triumph, Morris and many others.
There will be country crafts on display and other attractions include bloodhounds, heavy horses, terrier racing and a dog Grand National.
People will be able to admire up to 20 birds of prey on the 1066 Falconry stand.
There will be live music with the Sussex Stompers as well as mini quad bikes and a bouncy castle.
A raffle will offer the chance to win an iPad Mini Kindle and £100 of garden vouchers
Entry cost is £5 per car and all proceeds from the Show go to the Rye and Winchelsea District Memorial Hospital, a Registered Charity.
