RYE Studio School’s Key Stage 5 students studying Art, Photography and Textiles are holding an exhibition for the public to view their work from June 30 between 10am and 4pm.
The students aged from 16 to 18 years of age will be highlighting their artistic skills and demonstrating their A Level work in this exhibition titled ‘Elements’.
Students explored the four elements of fire, water, air and earth and created artworks in response to them.
This work contributes to their A level grade at the end of their course.
The exhibition will be held at the Studio School and will run through to July 11.
The work will be available for purchase at the event.
The school looked forward to welcoming people to this event.
Students from the school, which opened last September, have already showcased their work around the town in venues such as Rye Art Gallery.
Students from the school are also involved in helping to run this year’s Rye Arts Festival in September.
The school boasts art rooms and recording equipment and a fully equipped photographic dark room.
