BEAUTY salon Rye Retreat has enlisted the help of primary school children from Beckley and Rye to help raise money for Water Aid.

Rye Retreat is participating in Aveda Earth Month 2014.

All the money raised will go towards safe water and sanitation projects in Nepal and India and also within the UK.

Katie Beecroft and Courtenay-Rae Fairweather, from Rye Retreat, involved children from Beckley and Rye Primary Schools.

The children made little ‘water drops’ which now take pride of place in The Rye Retreats ‘waterfall’.

Children of all ages are invited to come and get messy making more water drops to add to this.

Café Des Fleurs have donated Succulent Cacti which can be bought for a minimum donation of £5.

There will be the opportunity to receive special ‘mini treatments’ including hand and arm massages, make up quick fixes and mini facials all for donations to Water Aid.

Buy an Aveda ‘Light The Way’ candle which we are selling for £16, all proceeds go to the charity and each candle bought keeps a family of six in clean, safe water for six months.

On Wednesday April 23 the salon is hosting an Indulgence Evening with de-stress massages, hand and arm massages, make –up and hair quick fixes.

The Ambrette has donated canapes and The Ship Inn, Rye has donated sparkling wine for the guests upon arrival, Tickets are on sale in the salon priced £10.

People are welcome to come in and bring their children to join in the fun and make a raindrop for the waterfall.
