THIS Sunday sees DLWP host a number of minis in celebration of Richard Wilson’s Hang On A Minute Lads, I’ve Got A Great Idea...

Those with an old or new mini or no mini at all are equally welcome.

Enjoy a whole day of the iconic cars and then watch The Italian Job in the afternoon in our auditorium. There will also be Northern Soul DJs Jim Watson and Ray Patriotic providing music from the bandstand.

Minis arrive in car park at any point in the morning from 10am and in place for a photoshoot at 12 noon. The car park will be exclusively open to mini owners.

The photographs will be taken between 12noon and 12.45pm by Sheila Burnett who took the De La Warr Pavilion’s 75th anniversary photo.

From 1pm to 3pm the DJs will be on the bandstand/ terrace (Northern Soul DJs Jim Watson and Ray Patriotic).

A showing of The Italian Job will take place in the auditorium at 3.30pm with an introduction by leading Michael Caine impressionist Drew Cameron. Tickets are £4 for this screening.

The building closes at 6pm and the car park will re-open to the public.
