The Seniors Lunch: on November 11 2014 at The White Hart Inn, Netherfield, organised by Darvel Down Residents Association in conjunction with ROAR (Residents of all Rother) was thoroughly enjoyed by fifty-six people. As it was Remembrance Day, the meal was of wartime flavour, Corned Beef Hash, Bacon and Suet Pudding etc. The theme was continued by the excellent entertainment by the ‘Land Army Girls’, who provided us with songs from both World Wars.
