Happy Christmas: We’re on the final countdown now, so I hope you are able to take a break and start enjoying the season! The Primary School will hold their Carol Service today (Friday) at 10am, to which everyone is very welcome, then Carols by Candlelight, a service of carols and readings, will be in St Mary’s Church on Sunday at 6.30pm.
Christmas Eve: The Crib Service will be in St Mary’s at 4pm on Christmas Eve, and will take the form of a Christingle and Papa Panov, with mulled wine and mince pies afterwards – no wonder it’s so popular!
Holy Communion to welcome in Christmas Day starts at 11.15pm.
Christmas Day: Bring all your friends and relations to the Christmas morning service at 10.30am – but do remember to bring some toys for the Rector to play with! It’s a very informal, short service which gets your Christmas Day off to a good start.
Library: Northiam Library will be closed this year on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day (24th & 26th December). However, if your literary presents aren’t all you wished for, they will be open again on Thursday 31st December for you to restock!
