Race Night: If you fancy a little flutter, then the Rose & Crown in Beckley is the place to be on Saturday (12th) when Northiam Bonfire Society will be holding their next Race Night. Local businesses have sponsored the races – horse “owners” will win £30 – and betting is 50p a time! Horses are on sale over the bar now, but horses in the final race, which will win £120!, will be auctioned just before it starts. We will be under starter’s orders from 7pm.
