GENERAL ELECTION: Please go along to the Memorial hall on Thursday May 7 to cast your vote - the polling station will be open from 7am until 10pm.

BUS TIMETABLES : The bus timetable for Peasmarsh has changed - and not for the better. At the time of writing there are no revised timetables at the bus stops, however there is a timetable on the Memorial hall’s website - http://peasmarshmh.btck.co.uk/. Our new bus would seem to be the 313, run by Renown and Rambler Coaches. Hopefully there will be timetables available soon.

MUSIC RECITAL: There are still tickets available for the Volta Quartet Recital at the church on Monday May 4 at 6.30pm. This will be followed by the traditional Candlelit Supper in the church. PEASMARSH FILM CLUB: The Peasmarsh Film Club is starting in May. For an annual membership fee of £20 you get up to 9 monthly Friday showings of films to suit all tastes. If you are interested in joining please contact Hilary Pankhurst on 230205 or email david.peasmarshmh@btconnect.com - the first film - Priscilla, Queen of the Desert - will be shown on May 8 at 7.30pm.

FILM NIGHTS: The film nights at the hall will resume in the autumn, with the next one being on October 10.

RYE 10 RACE: The 4th Rye 10 Race in aid of hall funds will be taking place on Sunday May 24, starting at Jempson’s car park at 10am. As always volunteers to help man water stations and act as course marshals are welcome - please contact David on 230205 for more information or to volunteer.

JEMPSON’S BOOT FAIR: There will be a Boot Fair at Jempson’s on Monday May 4 in aid of Rye and District Community Transport.

CHURCH SERVICES: This Sunday May 3 there will be a service of Holy Eucharist at Peasmarsh church at 10am.
