If you have the time, commitment and enthusiasm to make a contribution to the success and future of the charity we are keen to hear from you. You must be able to work as part of a team, attend an evening meeting minimum of 6 times pa and where possible support other fundraising and events organised by the charity (approx 2 per year). All trustees & volunteers are unpaid, but reasonable expenses incurred whilst carrying out the role are reimbursed. Previous experience as a trustee is not necessary. Please send a copy of your CV and a one page supporting statement or letter outlining your interest in the vacancy and your relevant background skills and experience to:- Tracy Barnett, Chair of the Trustees 12 High Meadow, Northiam, TN31 6GA.

Don’t forget to fill in and return the Jubilee invitation that came with this month’s Peasmarsh Periodical by May 25 - it can be left at Customer Services in Jempsons, at the Flying Start Pre-School or at the school (please post it in the letterbox at school in an envelope labelled Jubilee Fete).

A reminder that this year’s Flower Festival at Peasmarsh church will take place from May 25 - 27, the church will be open from mid day Friday to Sunday instead of Saturday to Monday. The church always looks (and smells!) wonderful for the Flower Festival, you’d be mad to miss it!

A note from Joyce of Peasmarsh Bowls club: Peasmarsh have only just played their first games of the season owing to the recent bad weather! We hope to be playing on our own green soon. We are still hoping for new players - if you are interested please phone Alf Boorman on 01797 230438 or Les Bourne on 01797 223639; they will be pleased to hear from you.

The Peasmarsh Flying Start baby and toddler group is held at the Peasmarsh Memorial Hall every Thursday morning (during term time) from 9.30am-11.30am and costs £2 per family, all welcome.

We are also lucky to have an ‘Outstanding’ Pre-School in our village - the Flying Start Pre-school is housed in a purpose built building at Peasmarsh School, term time only from 9am until 3.30pm. Please ring 01797 230325 and choose option 3 if you would like more information; there are a few spaces available.
