Church Services on Sunday August 11 – Morning Worship – Richard Barron, St Mary & St Peter, Pett at 9:30am. There will be a Sunday Service at the Methodist Chapel at 10:45am.

Also on Sunday August 11 Pett Allotments is holding its annual BBQ from 1pm. All plot holders and friends are welcome.

On Mondays from 1:45pm Pett Bowls Club hold their Ballot afternoons where, if you are interested in having a game of bowls and becoming a member of the club, you can come along for a chat and a try. The club is to be found on the other side of the Cricket Pavilion and offers three free games for people to decide if the game of bowls is for them. POPP on Tuesday August 13 will feature Annie Cryer. The session runs from 10:30am to 2:30pm at Pett Village Hall and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.

Pett Gardening Club will also meet on Tuesday August 13 but this month sees an outing to Great Dixter. Members will meet there at 2pm.

On Friday August 16 Pett WI will be enjoying Tea in the Garden at one of their member’s homes. The Chair of the East Sussex Federation of WI’s, Kathryn Hutson will also be joining them so it’s fingers crossed for good weather!

Pett Village Hall Committee is producing a 2014 Pett Calendar and would like your photographs of Pett through the seasons. If you wish to submit a photograph, please send them to either Ray Barden (Chairman) or Sarah Adams (Secretary) by 31 August. Their details are in Pett Parish News.
