The end of October is fast approaching, which will mean that the annual Halloween event will take place at Pett Village Hall on Sunday October 27. This is run by the Village Hall Committee for the village community.
It is a chance for young and old to come along to enjoy a spooky evening with a roaring Bonfire (but no fireworks). You can dress up and take part in the fancy dress competition and there will be games for all the children to play and prizes to be won.
There will also be an amazing BBQ with ‘Howling Hot Dogs’ and Bloodthirsty Bangers’ and you can indulge yourself with a warming glass of mulled wine! The only thing that cannot be guaranteed is the weather but fair or foul, it promises to be a fun evening.
Did you know that you can get the Jempsons bus to the superstore every Friday? It calls at Allards at 9:15am progressing to the top of Chick Hill by 9:20am and it leaves Jempsons to return at 11:30am. There is no need to walk to the stops as the bus will stop when hailed and it is safe to do so. Return fare is £1.
