Pett Parish Council: Following the resignations of two parish councillors last month, both the Chair and the Vice-Chair have also resigned. The Council can continue with the remaining three councillors but there are now what are known as Casual Vacancies. A notice to this effect has appeared in the September edition of Pett Parish News and any one interested in serving as a Councillor can obtain further details from clerkpettparishcouncil@hotmail.co.uk.

Pett WI: There was a good turnout for the first summer BBQ, held on Wednesday August 17. The food was organised by the Committee and cooked to perfection by Phil and Eve Button, who also supplied the meat. The lovely summer weather meant that most of the evening was spent outside and the feedback from members was extremely positive.
