THE Avocet Gallery at Rye Harbour holds an exhibition of photography from Saturday March 2 - March 24.

Gallery owner Peter Greenhalf said: “we’re delighted to be featuring work by Bruce Rae, who is best known for prints of flowers and shells, which he photographs using wooden cameras.

“ We’ll also be showing work by John Cole who is well known locally for his series of portraits of Hastings fishermen.”

Other local artists include Camber-based Caroline Fraser, whose digital colour prints have recently been exhibited in Tokyo .

There will be a range of other work including Peter’s own traditional, hand-toned landscapes.
