This event is organised by the Patient Participation Group for the Oldwood Surgery and Battle Health Centre.

Tuesday 19th March the classic swashbuckling adventure story `The Prisoner of Zenda` comes to Robertsbridge. This is a dramatic tale of political intrigue, identity swapping and star-crossed love in the fictional state of Ruritania, which has inspired two major Hollywood films featuring stars like Douglas Fairbanks JR, Ronald Colman and Deborah Kerr.

The play captures the excitement of the original novel with a dash of typical village life, which adds to the imaginative and unexpected twist and plenty of tongue in cheek fun.

`Prisoner of Zelda` will be the last production ever staged by acclaimed theatrical touring company, Chalkfoot, whose last performance in Robertsbridge was the much admired `Riddle of the Sands`.

This event is suitable for adults and families with children aged 12 +. This performance is being staged at Robertsbridge Hall at 7.30pm with entry at £9, concs £8, a bar will also be available. Please ring Pam on 880359 or email pamg88@hotmail.com to book your tickets.
