Scouts Junior Disco: is tonight Friday 24th April, for ages 6yrs –13yrs at Robertsbridge Club between 6.30pm – 8.30pm. Entrance costs £4 and is open to non-Beavers, Cubs or Scouts.

RAP: are presenting live theatre tonight at Robertsbridge Hall at 7.30pm, when the Hot Coals Ensemble are taking to the stage with `Storm in a Teacup`. This is inspired by Chekov`s Three Sisters, but no previous Chekov experience is necessary. Entrance is £9 and tickets can be bought from Judges.

St Mary’s: has Holy Communion at 9am on Sunday 26th at the Mission Room in Fair Lane and at 11am it’s the Sung Eucharist at Salehurst. This Sunday is Vocation Sunday, and the Rev. Christopher Channer will be taking both of the services.

The children’s Sunday Club will be meeting in the Vestry at the Church during the morning service. All children at primary school age are very welcome.

Just to remind you that the PCC AGM is on Tuesday 28th at 7pm and everyone is invited to attend.

Some inaccurate information was given last week about the 100 Club draw. This is to take place after Church on Sunday May 10th at the Salehurst Halt. Numbers will be allocated at the Spring Market on Saturday 9th May. You can still sign up for the draw by ringing Roger Cowap on 880247.

The Dementia Supper Club: will be holding its next meeting on Thursday 30th April at the Ostrich starting at 6.30pm. For any information on this please contact Sally Goodey on 07557480685.

Robertsbridge Jazz Club: will be offering a great night of Jazz for May on Thursday 14th. This is at Robertsbridge Hall between 8pm – 10.30pm and tickets are £8 in advance available from Judges Bakery or on the door at £10. The club is presenting The Mike Hext Band, with Mike Hext on Trombone, Nick Rodwell on piano, Julian Jackson on Bas and Pete Beamont on the drums. A good night to be had by all. Robertsbridge Bonfire Society: will be holding the Annual Auction of Promises on Friday 22nd may at Robertsbridge Club. If you have anything to donate to auction off on the night it is greatly needed to raise the funds for putting on the event in November. Robertsbridge Spring Clean: this went extremely well this year. It is amazing how much rubbish was actually picked up from all the different areas of the village and a huge thanks to around 30 volunteers of all ages that spent their time on Sunday afternoon last week doing the job. Please try and beware of dropping litter and if you see any fly tipping please report it. Now the sun is out we will be getting visitors come to look at our village and we want to show them a village to be proud of.

DARTS: Tonight is Ladies & Mixed Pairs Knockout at Robertsbridge Club 8p.m. The very popular Open Pairs Knockout returns on Sunday 3rd May 2015 @ Robertsbridge Club with registration at 7.30p.m. Entry is £1 per person in this very exciting and fun evening for anybody whether you play darts or not this is open to any member and guests.

FOOTBALL: There is no game tomorrow.

STOOLBALL: The last training sessions are on Tuesday 28th April 2015 @ Robertsbridge College at 8.30p.m. then again at The Cricket Ground from 6.30p.m. before we start the season in May.

LADIES DARTS: The season finishes on Monday 27th April 2015 with the Finals of the singles, pairs and team knockout where Eileen Morgan/Steph Goldsmith are in the semi-finals of the pairs. This is being played at Ticehurst Club 8p.m.

CHARITY CUP: The Final of the Robertsbridge Charity Junior Cup, sponsored by Speedtrace Builders Ltd., between Hawkhurst United and Mountfield United will be at Robertsbridge Recreation Ground K.O. 6.30p.m. Entrance to this is Adults £2 and O.A.P’S/Children £1 with all profits going to local charities including Robertsbridge Scouts and Guides, Robertsbridge Children Services.
