Retreat Coffee

Retreat Coffee

THE Rye area will be brewing up today (Friday) to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

A number of events are being held as part of the annual World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

The Rye Retreat salon will be holding a special ‘Bake Off’ with staff producing homebaked cakes, biscuits and cupcakes in aid of Macmillan and cakes will be available all weekend.

A Coffee Morning takes place in Udimore in St Mary’s Community Hall, between 10am and noon, with home-made and home grown produce and crafts available.

There are other coffee mornings taking place on the forecourt of Icklesham Stores, from 10am - noon and at Winchelsea Lower Court Hall from 10.30am - 12.30am.

Fairlight Floral Club holds its event on Saturday from 10am - noon.

If you are holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning event today, or over the weekend, you can email your pictures in to the Rye Observer and we will do our best to use them next week.
