Rye Harbour artists brought a welcome splash of colour to Rye over the Easter weekend when they held a four day exhibition at the Community Centre.

The group, which was formed in 2000, re-located to Rye after outgrowing their previous venue Rye Harbour Church. Much of the work was inspired by the local environment.

Artists exhibiting work inlcuded Annie Soudain, Mike Stott and Val Fricker and work on show included textiles, paintings, ceramics, wood and photography.

Guest artists were Vincent Mathews, Karl Terry , Rob Law and Leslie McKinley.

Visitors were able to enjoy refreshments and home made cakes.
