Clock Tower: Some interesting facts about the Clock Tower in 1889 a plot of land was sold by Thomas Ellis Slaughter and his wife, Mary for the sum of £2 to the village of Sandhurst for the purpose of erecting a Memorial to Arthur Oakes Esq JP, who was a highly respected parishioner of Sandhurst.
