William Goodsell: retires after 72 years of bell ringing. Bill started at the age of 14. His other duties in church include pumping the wooden lever which are operates the organ bellows. Bill was presented with a garden bench from the church and the bellringers in grateful thanks was long service.

Church: The service iat St Nicholas’ Church on June 26 is Eucharist at 10 AM. The Reverend Rosemary Kobus van Wengen will take the service at the Baptist Church. It will be morning worship at 10:30 AM and a picnic at 1 PM on the playing fields. There will be no evening meeting. At St Nicholas the Reverend David would like sermon feedback. He would like it to be friendly and constructive so please contact David on (01580) 240658 or by letter.
