CHURCH MAGAZINE: It made me laugh to read in the village Baptist Church magazine about a visiting preacher that once said in Sandhurst that one set of sinners are replace by another - it is hard work to be a Baptist. The next service at the Baptist Church is morning worship on July 31 at 10.30am. Pastor Ken will take the service and there will be an evening meeting at 7pm. A coffee morning takes place at the church hall on August 4 at 10.45am.

THANK YOU: A big thank you to all those who came and supported the Christian Aid Hunger Lunch in the Mission Church. The lunch raised £91. They have £410.89 from the envelopes so far making a total of £501.89.

PARISH NEWS: The editor of the Parish News Shelagh (01580 850133) would be interested to hear from anyone about hedgehogs. The last hedgehog she saw was a baby one that her husband rescued from a stream in Sissinghurst Gardens about ten or so years ago.

GOOD LUCK: To all Year 6 children from the village primary school. Enjoy your summer and good luck to you all in your new school in September.
