RYE is all set to celebrate it’s harvest of the sea in spectacular style with the week-long Rye Bay Scallop Festival starting this weekend.

A packed programme of events takes in tastings, quizzes, art, music and talks.

The festival has grown in size over the years and has claimed its place on the nation’s culinary map, attracting food enthusiasts from all over the country and the continent.

Interest soared when the Festival appeared on the BBC Hairy Biker’s programme.
